Hi,
I'm trying to get a mailing list going (using mailman), but
whenever it tries to send out a message to the list, it ends
up getting the error "431 Too many recipients".
Is this related to MAXPERC and/or MAXPERIP ?
Is there a way I can configure courier such that for a

Yes. This setting requires a server restart.

Just installed courier and am very very impressed by the package.
Hope to learn a lot reading this mailing list. Fine tuning is what I
want to learn and lots of other goodies.

You may want to consider switching to the
courier-mta for your full solution. I currently have it running with virtual
users using a mysql database. Virtual domains shouldn't be that hard to add. I
can send you a file to help you with the build process if your
interested.

The documentation
for courier-imap suggests very clearly that it does support vpopmail style
virtual domains. But after several tens of hours (no joke - really) I've not
been able to find a way to make it work.
Is there anyway from the sendmail command line to send a email with an

It's off topic, but: MySQL is one of the only SQL servers that will
always do case insensitive matches. With other servers, you must be

I would check your database for users with mixed case user names - probably
the problem.

I'm following this subject as I don't get allfilter to run for
the courier-0.43.1 on OpenBSD-3.3/i386.
I have reconfigured and reinstalled Courier, now with the
option --without-socks. Here is how I run configure:
