Is it not being able to logon, or being able to logon and just have no
email?
Please clarify which it is.

Did you check your SMTP logs?
Did you verify where the message are being delivered to?

Lovely statement, especially for one administering a server.
Be ready to be on call 24/7 when you're an administrator, it's part of the
deal with web applications, being able to be up and supported 24/7.

Logs. Both from Courier and your SMTP.

Authentication modules used.

SMTP server, and mailbox format used.

Any virtual domains packages used.

Anything else that "you" may think have caused it.
