The move by Regus to claim the coworking space validates the growing
power of coworking and the coworking movement. It also shows how
mainstream coworking (or at least the term coworking) has become.
Regus wouldn't have done this unless they were seeing rapidly growing
interest in coworking.

They announced 600+ SXSW Interactive panels last week, and ours wasn't on
the list. There are 31 in the Future of Work track, but none are obviously
about coworking.

Well, it was only a matter of time, I suppose. But here's the great part
about Regus claiming any sense of ownership over coworking: they'll always
be playing catch-up.

1. They were inventing coworking about the same time Al Gore was creating
the internet (Coincidence? I think not!)
2. As a pioneer in the field of coworking, what has been there "mark",
beyond claiming to place their flag first on Mt. Cowork?

Thanks for sharing the article- it's great! Would you be interested in
doing any sort of profile of a coworking space? Citizen Space is not only
the first of it's kind, but is a great starting point for a lot of content
that shows coworking in action.
