Those are great rules, and nice artwork, but I sure wish earbuds were easier to spot from behind. Too many times I've inadvertantly interrupted someone because it was impossible to detect their earbuds at first, and in the case of phone conversations, they weren't talking at the time. :( Randy

Thanks all! This is very encouraging. There are already "sections", but I was concerned they would work against the community building aspect. They're not closed sections, though. It just FELT weird. :-) The plus, I guess, is that it has two shower rooms (and two bathtubs...haha). Toni On Mar 30,

We barely fit your requirement, Uncubed is about 6k sq/ft. We've added glass roll up garage doors so that the space can be separated as needed when the event space is in use. Coworking takes up about 50% of the overall space, and can expand if needed. Even before the garage doors, we kept the

As with most things we try and do everything through human to human interaction. That said, we've build into Nadine a few gentle reminders to help us make sure everything gets done. We have a list of TO DO items that get triggered with a new membership and some EXIT TASKS that get triggered when

We did it thru architecture (desk and office layout, materials, lighting, etc.). Like starting with a big block of clay, you trim it, sculpt it, and generally break it down to smaller components that work together. Well, actually, maybe it's not everyone's version of cozy, but it works for us!

We went to look at a space today that's just over 13K square feet. The 11K square foot building is in negotiations. Anyway, I just couldn't get the feel of community as I walked through. Who has a space larger than 5,000 square feet and how do you make it feel cozy? -- You received this message b

Potential members visit the space, take a tour where we explain what we are (a community) and what are not (desk rental), and then have them do a week trial. At the end of the week, assuming that they decide that Workantile is for th
