As of today, September 3, the global network of social enterprise-focused
coworking spaces formerly known as The HUB has re-branded itself Impact
Hub. While the new name is unfortunately a lot longer, I like that it's
much more self-explanatory, calling out the network's mission to serve
clientele
Thanks for all the input.
This was an interesting dry run in that we are not actively seeking a space,
rather just trying to get prices in the development as their site offered
nothing.
Being the honest guy I am when he inquired as to why I told him what I knew,
knowing full well the concept
Wondering if anyone has run across this. We reach out to a developer with a ton
of vacancies in one of their developments to see about getting space. In part
also at the urging of the town manager.
The representative I spoke with got wrapped around the concept of "office" and
said their lease

I often say that the worst thing that happend to "coworking" is that it
became associated with the word "space". :)
Here's the good news: you're dealing with the most common issue of
distraction that I see in coworking, and the most common mistake I hear in
a coworking pitch.
Here's the bad news:
Call it a private club, similar to an airport admiral's club. There's
space to work, space to eat and drink, space for a masseuse (we can
dream!!!)
