Yesterday was a sad day for me : Station C, an old generation coworking
space and community, is about to close or change hands
(http://www.station-c.com/major-announcement/). This kind of stories
happens quite often. But for me and Les Satellites it was a particular day
because I discovered coworking at Station C with Patrick Tanguay, Daniel
Mireault and their members when I was a student. There is no Les Satellites
without Station C. Les Satellites is built with Station C DNA. This is why
I've been sad yesterday. I'm trying at the moment to help them the best I
can with the few relatives that I have left in Montréal (so few) but I
totally ignore what's going to happen until late February. I've been
discussing with Daniel and they are now talking with potential acquirers :
they really want to keep the space and the community afloat. I'm sure they
will. They faced in their history several difficulties. They've grown
stronger from them. But I'm also convinced that a little help from us, the
coworking community, can change a lot of things.

If you are at Montréal and if you can help Station C kicking ass again,
then do it. Do it for what Station C epitomizes. Do it for what helping
epitomizes.

Spread the word.
