I'm working on some background research into co-working, and was
wondering if anyone is aware of any academic studies of co-working
spaces. Since co-working is a relatively new phenomenon, I'm not sure
if the academic world has caught up with the real world, but I'm
curious.

There have been many actually, though by nature they're not necessary easily
discovered by the public.
I can try to send you (or anyone else) the one or two I have in my
possession if you like; I don't know if they're supposed to be shared
publicly but I don't see a problem sending them along.

We've had 2 research projects conducted here.
One is a grad level thesis on collaborative environments. It was produced by
2 students who worked from Indy Hall part time (paid for by the university),
and there's much broader research than just coworking/Indy hall included.
