I wanted to share this event with everyone since there is a bit of concept overlap (but not overall philosophy). There may be an opportunity for folks in the LA/San Diego market to benefit from the conference education - I site the real estate sessions and International Economic perspectives in particular.
OBCAI is the Office Business Center Association International - found at http://www.obcai.org The upcoming conference in San Diego is Sept. 23-27 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina - more details at http://www.obcai.org/2009/ This coworking group has previously discussed forming of a federation of sorts and OBCAI is a well-established group that has been successful at establishing a sense of industry community and awareness but does not dictate to its members how to operate. Rather, this is a "best practices" association and provides education and resources to its members. I'll be attending myself and hope to meet up with some of you.
