I (MW487 as a tester) have taken up testing from cygwin and Strawberry perl
(MSWin32) after some years away.  I want to add my new test submission counts
to my old totals.  That seemed to work for awhile with cygwin (
http://stats.cpantesters.org/leaders/leaders-cygwin-all.html, #4 on list), but
now seems to be stuck on 251 even though I have been submitting reports.
For MSWin32 ( http://stats.cpantesters.org/leaders/leaders-mswin32-all.html ,
#26) my submissions have never seemed to register in August, though I have made
many.
In many cases I have seen my submissions go through tail (
http://metabase.cpantesters.org/tail/log.txt ), so I think transport works okay.
I have reinstalled cygwin and Strawberry perl a few times on a few computers,
and I have the feeling this has to do with various versions of metabase-id.json
that got generated: maybe the earliest got attached to my old running count,
and new submission counts on new metabase-id.json go into the bit bucket? Maybe
whether I use the command line to make the file, or the "o conf init" in cpan?
Maybe I need just the one original copy (now gone!), maybe it needs to be in
~/.cpanreport or ~.cpantester...  I tried swapping around various copies
without joy.  I also tried large-capping the email address and such thing...
Can anybody straighten me out?  Thank you.
