I am also interested in participating in this group.
I have had experience with managing standards translation for library
cataloguing standards and would be able to contribute that perspective.

Hi, I am delighted to see so much enthusiasm for the translation working
group following yesterday's discussion.
Since some people who would like to collaborate on the initiative may not
have been with us yesterday, I would like to quickly introduce the topic
again here.
The official version 7.1
I am confused about embedding. If it is reincarnated as (a subclass) of S20
then we don't need it. All the properties can be expressed by a combination of
existing properties. So I agree that if it is kept then it has be something
different from S20.
Best,
Christian-Emil
Hi, we Japanese community also decided to organize some collaborative works
for translation of the newest version of CIDOC CRM into Japanese.
We would start with a simple reading circle where we read the English
version together to understand the concept and terms comprehensively in our
language,
Dear Christian-Emil, Martin,
I cannot help but continue to think that an embedding is something more
immaterial than an S20, for which E3 seems more adequate to me, especially in
cases where it is necessary to indicate the position, orientation and other
modalities of placement of an object
Hi George
you proposed the issue, so you are expected to coordinate the team :)
Meanwhile, I sent out a circular letter about the CRM translation into Italian
and already got (overnight!) enough qualified volunteers to start the job.
So let’s go!

Indeed the intention is to focus on ontological level for the CRM and
not to expand to data structures, schemas etc. The issue label does not
represent the issue exactly, but it can act as a reminder. I will add
the reference to the library.
