My motivation to support RSE in the release train in not that strong
anymore. In PDT we integrated PTP Synchronized Projects as a mean for
providing remote project support.

Projects exceeding 80G of disk space on HIPP/JIPPs:

617G /jobs/genie.packaging
201G /jobs/genie.openj9
167G /jobs/genie.kitalpha

I am purposely leaving RSE out on its own. Greg's org.eclipse.remote better
suits our needs in CDT and will be going forward with that. RSE needs a new
owner, or archive.

Wayne, maybe the time has come indeed. The incubation status did not prevent
the technology of the project from being used even in commercial products, but
I understand that this is starting to be a bit “off process”. Plus, the core
APIs have been stable for quite a long time.
However, I
I am not able to provide support TM or RSE for inclusion in Photon, but in any
case when Terminal moves to CDT I think TM should be archived. If there is
support for RSE then it should become a tools project in it's own right and a
decision to join Photon made by the new project.
I know
Regarding Target Management, IIRC there is a plan moving the Terminal to the
CDT.
But what about RSE?
Some packages include it now (PHP, JEE, C/C++ as far as I know)...
I am a TM committer, but I can not personally support TM on the release train.
