Hi David,
yes, I am a representative of Xpand. And Karsten (Thoms) already formally
announced the participation in another mail.
Also Xpand has an aggrecon file, so I think we are fine.
Thank you!

No, Karsten will very likely announce the participation of Xpand soon.

Hi,
Xtext and MWE will be participating in the Mars simultaneous release, with
offset +2.
Current plan is to contribute the 2.8.0 release.

Hi all,
I wanted to inform everyone that the Xtext project plans to contribute a minor
release (2.7) to SR1.
The plan is to release version 2.7 on September 2nd, which is +2 for RC2 [1].
We will contribute to RC1 as well of course.
Would it be possible to contribute a 2.7.1 to RC3 in case we en

I agree, that this is unfortunate and should be fixed.
But doesn’t that only affect users, who have installed Java 8 plus the
Eclipse-support *and*
are using an environment for Java 8 but have the compiler set to something
below 8?
Is that something many people do? If so they will likely run int
I agree, that the descriptions should be informative rather than the completely
spelled out name of the project or so.
IMHO the main problem is the number of features provided. Eike gave us a good
example of that and it's similar for most projects.
The common CDO user usually just wants to instal
Yes, it is sort of a Java extension. For instance it extends Java with support
for template string concatenation ;-)
The advantage of Xtend over Freemarker and the like is that it is statically
typed and has very good tool support.
In addition it sports smart whitespace handling.
I've recorded
The offset for all three projects is +2.

Hi Wayne,
Xtext [1], Xpand [2], and MWE [3] will be participating.
For Xtext and MWE the next planned release is 2.5.0 (scheduled for December
2013 ATM).
For Luna the contribution will be a 2.x release.

Hi all,
I just wanted to inform you that we are building an RC4a today (now).
It contains an important bug fix, which won't affect any downstream projects,
but is important for end users.

Hi all,
as you might know, we've recently restructured Xtext and moved the language
Xtend to its own project under tools (tools.xtend).
I've just flipped the bits stating that Xtend is on the train and will update
all the meta data as soon as the infrastructure is available and the move is
