I had to do a bit of work to get AWS working with the new event system, it's entirely possible that a leak was introduced. In what context would you expect for the last reference to the TextBox to go away?

Make sure you install the Platform SDK and follow the instructions how
to intergrate it into VCEE *to the letter*.

I don't know if this is related but we are about to stop support for
VC6. You really should upgrade your compiler. VC8 is now freely
available with no restrictions.
