Philippe,
Thanks for the insight. It's good to know it will be fixed.
For tables with captions, I decided to use a 'captioned' class for tables
which removes the margin-top, and then include the same margin-top
measurement as part of the caption style. I figured this is more
semantically valid th

Hello all,
I'm creating some CSS styles for tables that sometimes will have a caption
and sometime will not. I want 1.5em of white space above and below the
table. If the table has a caption, the upper white space should go above the
caption, and there should be 0.5em of white space between the c
I have a table centered at the top of the page that I want to remain visible
even when the page scrolls. However, I don't want to be able to see the text
scrolling behind it. How do I fix this? Which position property would I
use?

Thanks David. See Ingo's reply to my post and my reply to Ingo for the
identity of the bug and the fix.

Thank you Ingo, that was exactly the problem. I hadn't seen that bug
before. Simply including
in between h1#logo and div#spacer fixed the problem in both IE6 and IE7.
Thanks again.

My first thought is the graphic in the upper left that shows a severe
decline is, perhaps, not the best choice for an investment site where, I
assume, they are supposed to be making money...

working on. There are four child elements of body, the first (blue) is
absolutely positioned at the bottom of the viewport, the last (green)
is absolutely positioned at the top of the viewport, the second
(yellow) is a hack (a
Hey Kim andgunther,
thanks for your feedback about font size issues and color choices. I
will take it under advisement. I used the long pagetitles in order to
use keywords in the title bar.
