OK,
The dropdown menu on my site is plagued by the hasLayout bug, probably as a
result of the whitespace in my list. There is extra padding between each
list item in IE7. That's right, in IE7. It looks fine in IE6. I've tried
applying the following rules but no single one of them has worked:

Three issues that I'm dealing with are:
1. Between the header and horizontal navigation there is a gap in IE6.
2. Also, in FF and Safari the text in the footer is not centered
horizontally but it is in IE.
3. The space between each sub menu item is grea

In Firefox my design looks as expected, however, it is lost in IE7

I have a two column layout with a two column nested within one of the

Any ideas?

I don't know why but on some pages (such as the home page right now)
of my website have a 3 or 4 pixel white line on the right of the page
that obviously should not be there.

Any ideas as to why this is occuring?
Thanks for your help,

Please look at the following page in IE 6:

It appears that something about the blockquote and the css for the
footer is causing the background on the footer to start at the
blockquote instead of the bottom of the page. I hope that makes sense

That vertical-align trick did the job on the header. Thank you very
much... I was definately stuck.
Now I only have to get the bug out of the navigation footer. Do you or
anyone else have any ideas on how to fix that?

I thought that over-riding the list-style rule in the a:hover class

I was trying to figure out how I've done this in the past, for some
