On my homepage (wordpress blog with my own theme dkret2) I tried to make a
variable width design.
Although the sidebar floats nicely to the left of the content in Firefox and
IE7 it just doesn't work with older IE's. It looks like the content is
cleared and begins under the sidebar.
I only float t
On my homepage I style the body with grey. My content should be white. The
problem is that the before the page is fully loaded the content the
background color oft he body uses.
How can I have it white from the beginning?

I just found a/the solution:
A simple position:relative; for the main ul did the trick (but why?)

Although everything seems to work properly. One thing still isn't as
expected.
On my homepage all links are accessable but on our schoolhomepage the
sublinks hide before I can click on them (Only with Firefox! IE7 is ok).
Only as I hover over the link the submenu block is visibel. Why?

I am the author of the Wordpess Theme dkret2. I implemented a suckerfish
menu wich works very well in MOST browsers.
I just cant find a way to change my CSS so it display without errors in
Safari (mac). The top navigation is ok but if a menu drops down OVER content
you just cant click an the lin
