I have been working on the following site:

is to have a div within the content area that contains a picture. I have run
into an issue in that the content bleeds over into the padding even though
overflow is set to hidden in
span class was for
the external ones, however content a:hover over rides my span class. This
makes no sense to me. According to inheritance rules the closest style
rules. Can anyone explain this?

Hi all,
I am working on a web design that has three different columns of navigation
that are persistent throughout the site. I would like to find a way to have the
link of the page you are on be highlighted while the rest are grayed out. For
example, say I had a main nav of "About US" which led
