this database content is really
tabular data and we should continue to have it in tables, or if we should
instead use pure CSS to style what is really only 4 elements:
1. Title
2. Date/Time
3. Image (always the same size)
4. text tease

In the meantime - we also figured out a workaround. Due to conflicting
style on our page, we set the left & right margin to be the same!

setting the value to hidden

effect the other containing elements - or their content (nav, container,

I have a wrapper (red border) around the entire content, however, it is
only wrapping around the header (blue border)
The height of the body is 100%, and the height of the wrapper is 100%
which I thought would inherit the body height - but it isn't.
I moved the height from the body to the * but t

Hi -
I'm starting a site (fairly new to css) where one section (not just a page
but many pages that are related) must look COMPLETELY DIFFERENT (colors,
background, logo etc.) than the rest of the site, but the basic structure
of both sections are exactly the same. Is what I've explained below ok?
Here's the site:

Hi David -
thanks for the screen captures - I try to find a fix for the IE5 (text
creeps up) but I'm using Win2000, how would I check it in xp-sp2?
Also, will probably lighten the bg image on homepage, and darken gray text
of rest.
Thanx for the imput!
