I need some assistance in figuring out how to make a footer span 3 columns.
The home page is the only one in which I plan to have 3 columns:

It works fine with 2 columns as in the other pages in the site:
I am trying to create a CSS drop-down menu. I am having a couple of problems
with it.
1. In Firefox, the drop-down menu links are too narrow in width.
2. When I hover over the main menu links (in both IE Firefox), the
drop-down menus appear, but then disappear when I move away from the main
menu
