[css-d] Site check: 3 pixel jog fixes don't work on this one!

2005-09-14 Thread Scott Blanchard
http://v5.octane8.com/expsidebars/ The left sidebar is floated, but there are no other floats in the layout. The problem is that the header element (the red graphic with the word Sungard) exhibits the 3 pixel gap in IE. Unfortunately, none of the hacks I've found can fix it. What am I missing???

[css-d] How to move content area to the top of this floated layout?

2005-09-08 Thread Scott Blanchard
Is it possible to change the order of this float layout so that the content area comes before the sidebars??? Without resorting to absolute positioning? !DOCTYPE html PUBLIC -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd; html head

[css-d] Site check: float+ abs poitioned madness in IE 5.5

2005-06-03 Thread Scott Blanchard
http://v5.octane8.com/octane8new/default.aspx?id=4 Can someone have a look at this URL in IE 5.5 for PC and tell me why the right sidebar is anchored to the right edge of the browser rather than the right edge of the template (as in IE6 and all modern browsers)? Can I hack a workaround?
