a pc and have Helvetica LT Std. The following font-weights produce the
following results:
Anything between 100-500/Lighter appears as normal. 600 and 700 appears

I gave it a shot, but that didn't fix it either.
I believe the problem stems from the transparent spacer.gif I'm using in
the list to activate the hover state. When I remove the tag in the
list and replace it with text, the alignment issue is corrected in FF.

In IE 7 everything aligns pretty good. However, in Firefox 2.0 (win XP)

Im working on my first CSS site. Its a simple two column layout with a
top banner. The right column is flush against the top banner. However,
the left column (navigation) has a gap between itself and the top
banner. This only appears in Firefox. I'd like to get rid of this
