I have been using http://ipinfo.info/netrenderer/index.php for hacking IE6 and IE7 into submission. In general I develop on linux with Chrome. Then check appearance on Firefox and Safari in Mac, which (usually but not always) look much the same. I have IE8 running on an old XP box. So I tehn use
