element did the trick of removing the extra bottom margin. Unfortunately,
I'm still working on getting the background image for the element to display
properly, but hopefully I can work that out myself.

You still have default margins being applied to the H1 and the P
elements. You can either remove these or simply add overflow: hidden;
to the #content div.
