Ad this rule to .pageBox... display: table;
This should cause the red border to extend below the two columns of text.

It does indeed. Has the negative side effect of also making the box only
as wide as the image, which is no good.

Yes, remove the height restriction from #featuresbox and the border will
enclose things as you wish.
