Title: Bikers classified Terrorists in Canada

Bikers classified Terrorists in Canada

It is interesting how throughout society's history there have been bogeymen that mothers have scared little children with to keep them in line. Monsters under the bed to keep a wandering child in place during the night, ghouls and goblins that would eat bad little children while they slept. Governments also have used these same tactics to keep it's citizenry in line. If the local population did not pay their taxes on time, defensive forces used to protect the townspeople from barbarian hordes would be held in check, leaving the town vulnerable. Not much has changed since the Industrial Revolution. Police forces and government agencies still use fear among the populous to raise their funding. This has never been so glaringly obvious than the police's treatment of bikers. In the early years of clubs, the membership entertained themselves with drinking, riding, fighting and use of narcotics. Not that this activity was any different from anybody else in the country, but the bikers mode of transportation along with their hideous dress code, tattoos and mannerisms, and the fact that there weren't too damn many of them made for an easy specimen. The fact that the bikers never protested the label also helped. There were far too many Rednecks and Irishmen boozing and busting each other up in bars to pick on them. After all, they were just boys being boys. Teens and young men were blasting up and down every main street in urban America with their supped up muscle cars much to the chagrin of the local church folk and town sheriff and there wasn't a pothead alive that could ingest as much narcotics as the folks from Hollywood. When either of these social groups were targeted as examples of decadence, the public balked, the police and press then backed off. There just wasn't that many outlaw bikers, and those that were usually kept their mouths shut and took it, or took it as a compliment. Even the horrifying Hells Angels were only a few hundred strong total back then. Every press release about the Angels placed their numbers in the thousands. Even today, the numbers are greatly exaggerated. During the run in Montana a year ago, it was reported that over 2000 members showed when actually only a few hundred showed. Ironically enough, if any outlaw clubs are the organized crime family the government states they are, it was the police that created them. The clubs were nothing more than belligerent scofflaws until prosecutors attempted to hang them on trumped up felony charges. The bikers didn't mind sitting in jail for a week or two for brawling, but 5 to 10 in prison for something they believed they didn't do was too much. The suspects needed lawyers and their brothers got them the best way they knew how. Today, not much has changed. Has there ever been a government agency in as much trouble as the Federal Bureau of Investigation before September 11th? Before Oklahoma City it was Waco and Ruby Ridge. Not that anybody who perpetrates violence against innocent people should go unpunished. On the contrary, they should be punished to the extent of the law in a fair trial. Just as every police officer that guns down an unarmed man, takes a bribe, steals or deals narcotics, or beats another person should be in jail instead of being covered up by their fellow officers. Police bemoan the fact that bikers are tight-lipped and in Australia have even created a law making it mandatory for somebody in a club to squeal on a fellow member if questioned. A man was gunned down in Virginia for the heinous crime of going 80 mph in a 55 mph zone and failing to stop. The police have slammed the doors on the investigation, if one truly is being done, so tight that even the parents of the victim don't know what's going on. A Gypsy Joker was murdered in cold blood allegedly by an ex policeman over a year ago. No leads have been discovered nor will there ever be. The alleged murdered is killed in an alleged revenge attack and within a month, bikers are raided. Drug dealers and gang-bangers are shooting each other up every day, Rednecks still get drunk and brawl, teens are still driving hot cars like they don't have an ounce of brains. Have a cop beat a black man trying to resist arrest and there are riots in the streets. Have a biker blown off his bike for speeding and there is one article inside the local paper. There are thousands of bikers cruising the highways of America. Hundreds of them are outlaws. Not because they rob banks or the like, but because they refuse to trust what they perceive to be a tyrannical governing body. The majority of outlaws have a wife and children, 9 to 5 jobs that they work hard at and for the most part want to be left alone. Some outlaws are thieves, some are users, some are dealers, some are even murderers. Much like every other social group in America, including the police, including Congress. Those groups are not being called terrorists. Why every biker in the nation hasn't gone insane with rage over this label is beyond me. Every outlaw I know will fight to the death for his cub, his family and his country. There are few people more patriotic. I for one, will never allow myself to be labeled as such. I understand the friends and family of the innocent victims of violence in Canada, nor do I condone any action that would hurt an innocent person or child. I will also not call every cop dirty, every politician a crook, every black man a dealer, every Arab a terrorist. Every outlaw biker in the world will beat somebody senseless for calling them a name, but oddly will stay silent when the media fills the public with exaggerations and lies. Today ben Laden is America's bogeyman. When he is gone, who will it be? Bikers are already terrorists in Canada.
