How would U-S-A define marriage in law, if given a new start on the problem like Canada? Why shouldn't homosexual group marriage also be legal? Also incestuous marriages are practiced in some cultures and also because of ideological-religious reasons. Royalty of Ancient Egypt are one such example, but Elsie Wayne can tell you about the "incest rights" case which made headlines in the Maritimes a decade ago. Zandu Goldbar does not think his harem should be discriminated against or he may have to emigrate to Saudi Arabia with his many wives and concubines because of religious discrimination and violation of his human rights. What would Canada do then? I know that homosexuality has existed probably as long as humans were on this planet. I have not heard of any society or culture that had marriage ceremomies for same sex couples. As far as I know it has always been male and female.
