However, St. Martin's (the same company that gave David Irving's book on Goebbels the bum's rush), got cold feet. They even allegedly fired the editor who bought the material. Fortunately, an avant-garde publisher in Los Angeles, Feral House, picked up the slack and my Unabom study will be published in a hardcopy anthology this autumn. In the meantime, one Beau Friedlander of New York City last month announced the imminent publication of Ted Kaczynski's own book, "Truth versus Lies." Because I was concerned that Kaczynski is not entirely free of the control of his Federal handlers and that his work might further muddy waters already the color of the Mississippi, I sought permission from Feral House to publish my work online now, so that people will be able to place all subsequent, alleged Unabom "revelations" in the context of questions I raise concerning this FBI charade. Feral House kindly agreed and your editor's inquiry into the machinations of one of the most powerful secret police agencies on earth is published on the Internet today.
