Date: October 16, 1999 Time: Approximately 4:30 PM Place: Double Tree Hotel, Los Robles Street, Pasadena, CA Event: Ted Gunderson/Brice Taylor Lecture The first speaker was a gentleman who seemed to make sure no one would know his name, and made emphasis of the fact that no faces - other than the speakers - would be shown on the video tape. The speaker mentioned Ted and Brice by name, and provided a verbal agenda for the evening. Wanting to report the facts to you, I shouted from the audience, "and what is your name?" He yelled back, "what's yours?" I shouted back, "Kathy Kasten, now what's yours?" The guy pretended that I was somehow asking for classified information/ connected with some subversive organization even though I was wearing a "Press" badge. He finally admitted to "Paul", when I told him that I needed his name for my notes. Ted Gunderson led off his segment of the lecture with a recap of his investigation of the MacDonald case which has been an on-going investigation for at least 12 or 13 years. MacDonald was the Green Beret charged with killing his wife and daughter at Fort Bragg. MacDonald still claims his innocence and may in fact be innocent, as Gunderson found an individual who claims that MacDonald did not do the killing; that the family was killed by the local satanic ritual abuse group. Ted also covered highlights of his investigation - with John DeCamp - into the Franklin pedophilia case involving Paul Bonncocci(sp?), touching on the fact that high level government officials were involved in the use of underage children for the sex and drug trade. Also, the fact that the children are used as body parts, and the cost of a child sex slave runs $4,000 to $5,000. Gunderson has a U.S. Customs document showing that two adults were stopped leaving the country with a child that was not related to them. Eventually, the two adults made telephone calls, and the child left the country with them. Apparently, the U.S. Customs were told to back off. Gunderson claimed that the C.I.A. is behind this type of operation. But, the most interesting part of Gunderson's lecture was the additional detailed information he had on the McMartin case. Information which he tried to present to the court in the second trial of the McMartins'; information which the judge in the case was not interested in hearing. This information consisted of an excavation of the McMartin school property by a professional archaeologist paid for with private funds. I had seen only a couple of hand sketched drawings of three items that were found - the "old", the "new" avocado roots, and the dated french fry bag from Disneyland. Seeing the photos of the dig under the school, seeing the filled in tunnels, one branch of the tunnel going under the apartment next door, to a trap door opening into the bathroom. Just as the children had reported. However, this was not the end of the presentation. More astounding was that the children had reported being taken to Crestline Drive to participate in rituals, and Ted was directed to the site by an informant who lived in the nearby area. I for one could hardly believe my eyes. Photo after photo showed stone altars; satanic script etched into various stones around the site; large ovens built into the wall; and a steep concrete slide area going down the side of the mountain - basically to nowhere anything could be retrieved.
