The International Citizens’ Inquiry into 9/11 – Phase 2, is now scheduled for May 25-30, 2004 at the Ukrainian Cultural Center (83 Christie, just north of the Christie subway at Bloor) and the University of Toronto’s famed Convocation Hall. Phase 1 of the Inquiry was held in San Francisco March 26-28, 2004 (see video at snowshoefilms.com).
Phase 3 is scheduled to commence in New York City on September 12, 2004 911truth.org.Purpose
The purpose of the Inquiry is to provide a forum for citizen 9/11 researchers to share the findings of their investigations with the general public. It is the most ambitious independent civic event of its kind so far and is entirely citizen-conceived, citizen-run, and citizen-funded.
Organisers of each phase of the Inquiry are working closely together and feature length video documentaries of Inquiry proceedings are already in production. Proceedings will also be published in book and web form and will be important educational resources for the future.
With confidence sinking every day that the official U.S. government’s Kean Commission will ask any genuine truth-revealing questions about 9/11, the work of these independent citizen Inquiries has become even more important.
The 9/11 Skeptic Movement out of which they have grown, is now rapidly becoming a real hope for a better future.

9/11 Skeptics
For those visitors new to this subject, 9/11 skeptics are citizens who do not believe the official “caught-by-surprise,” “intelligence failure” or “incompetence” explanations for the tragic events of September 11, 2001. They also do not accept the cynical exploitation of this official story to plunge the planet into “endless war,” resource theft and totalitarian control by endorsing a “war on terrorism.”
In TorontoIn the months following 9/11 about a dozen 9/11 skeptics in the Toronto area coalesced into a group and adopted the name “Toronto Inquiry Into 9/11.” They mounted two successful public events at the Bloor Cinema. One member of the group was Barrie Zwicker, producer of The Great Deception series on Vision TV. In late October 2003 he drafted a proposal for an international inquiry. In December his departure from Vision TV enabled him to offer himself for a leadership role. The International Inquiry Into 9/11 became established as an organization in January, 2004. Seed monies to launch it were contributed by Zwicker and other concerned Canadians and there is now a small staff advancing the Inquiry’s work on a daily basis.
