I have been watching the news on several channels about the WTO protests
and I hear everyone talking about all the violence but it sure looks
like its the cops doing it not the protesters. On all the news networks
and cable news too I saw the same Starbucks get broken into and some
graffiti along with an industrial dumpster on fire. I did hear news
readers talk of damage done to a Gaps and a Nike store but they should
have been prepared since they are both long standing targets. The Gap
due to their owners connection to the deforrestation of the headwaters
in Ca. and Nike for its human rights abuses.
I did not see any protesters beating up cops or firing tear gas or
rubber bullets at them. No as usual it was the cops doing the violence
to an otherwise peaceful but determined group of civilians.

Police Targeting WTO Protesters: Witness Janet
Christenson records three undercover men dressed in
camo & army jackets knock down and beat two idle
protesters at 3rd & Union. Two uniformed officers hold back
observers while protesters (one bleeding) are handcuffed
and removed from the scene.
