Iran will have the capability to produce nuclear weapons in the next six to 12 months, according to an Israel Defense Forces military intelligence assessment given to the Knesset on July 10. Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman said NATO and EU officials told him Israel should take measures to protect itself from the Iranian threat and not depend on the international community for protection.
