House Panel to Act on Immigration Reform

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. House of Representatives committee plans to act
on legislation abolishing the Immigration and Naturalization Service even though INS
Commissioner James Ziglar told the panel on Tuesday he is moving to restructure
the agency that has come under fire since the Sept. 11 attacks.
