Subject: MRC Alert Special: 'DisHonor Awards' Tickets on Sale

         ***Media Research Center CyberAlert Special***
              3:20pm EST, Tuesday February 4, 2003

Tickets Now On Sale for the MRC's "DisHonor Awards: Roasting the
Most Outrageously Biased Liberal Reporters of 2002."

The 3rd "DisHonor Awards" will take place the evening of
Thursday, March 27 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.
and as a CyberAlert subscriber you can save $25 per ticket.

Our promise: "It's usually the national liberal media
savaging conservatives...but on this night we get even!"

After we've finished "awarding" journalists, this year's
event will feature a concert by the Charlie Daniels Band.

We're still working out the specifics of this year's program,
but past participants and judges have included: Rush Limbaugh,
Sean Hannity, Ben Stein, Lucianne Goldberg, Katherine Harris, Bob
Novak, Michael Reagan, Kate O'Beirne, John Fund, Cal Thomas,
William F. Buckley, Jr., Steve Forbes and David Limbaugh.

As soon as I know the program for this year I'll let you
know, but this is always a popular event and I wanted to make
sure CyberAlert subscribers got a chance to get tickets early.

Tickets are $175 per seat, but CyberAlert subscribers get a
$25 discount and have to pay only $150 per ticket.

To order, call Susan Engle during EST business hours (9am to
6pm EST) at (703) 683-9733 ext. 163. Or, (800) 672-1423.

    For all the details:
http://www.mediaresearch.org/notablequotables/dishonor/03/info.asp

We'll soon get up an order form you can use to fax or mail in
a check or credit card order, but for now you must call Sue. But
it's not so bad. She's pretty nice and can process your order by
credit card. Her e-mail address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Reception & Cocktails at 6pm, dinner and awards at 7pm.
Business attire. All on Thursday, March 27.

This year's event will be very similar to last year's with
prominent conservatives handing out awards and others receiving
them in jest on behalf of media offenders. In 1999 Clarence
Thomas was our surprise acceptor. Last it was Katherine Harris.
Find out who it will be this year.

It will be a fun evening, as you can confirm by checking out
a Web page with a rundown of last year's dinner with several
RealPlayer video clips of it:

I hope to see many of you there. I know those who attended
last year found it well worth the trip. -- Brent Baker
