-Caveat Lector- Newsmax-Inside Cover Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001 12:03 p.m. EST O'Reilly: Denise Rich Made Less Than 100 White House Visits Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly said Tuesday night that an investigation by "The O'Reilly Factor" staff indicates that visits to the White House last year by million-dollar Democratic donor Denise Rich probably number fewer than 100. On Jan. 24 the New York Post reported that Rich visited the Clintons 100 times, prompting suspicion that the president's relationship with the voluptuous socialite was something more than strictly professional. But O'Reilly told his audience at the top of his show: "First up, a clarification. 'The Factor' has been trying to determine just how many times Denise Rich visited President Clinton in the White House. Published reports say she was there 100 times. But our reporting indicates that number is too high. "The Secret Service is the only agency that knows for sure and it isn't saying. But our investigation has determined that while Ms. Rich had access to the president, she often dealt with him on the phone or by fax. "Of course, Mr. Clinton could clear all this up in a heartbeat. But he hasn't seen fit to do that." House Government Reform and Oversight Committee spokesman Mark Corallo told NewsMax.com Tuesday that he expected White House Secret Service waves and E-pass records to be turned over by Wednesday, which should clear up the mystery of just how many times Rich actually visited the White House. But Corallo added that he did not know when those records would be made public. ================================================================= Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh, YHVH, TZEVAOT FROM THE DESK OF: *Michael Spitzer* <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Best Way To Destroy Enemies Is To Change Them To Friends ================================================================= <A HREF="http://www.ctrl.org/">www.ctrl.org</A> DECLARATION & DISCLAIMER ========== CTRL is a discussion & informational exchange list.
