No foreign enemy has stuck our homeland since 1812. Our wars have been fought somewhere else in lands far away. Two World Wars left much of the world devastated and in ruins, but the American homeland was untouched. We have fought long-distance wars by remote control. We have bombed and killed people in Somalia, Bosnia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Panama, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Grenada, and Libya. With total immunity we have killed millions and inflicted horrific damage in Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq. Today, Americans learned a terrible lesson.
