The mainstream press and the gay community have both treated the emergence of Pink
Pistols, which was inspired by an article by Jonathan Rauch in the National Journal
calling for just such an organization, as a curious new phenomenon. Who would have
thought that an

Who would have thought that an organization sporting a pink triangle
in its logo would take up the right-wing cause of gun ownership?
Yet more proof that the left/right paradigm is insufficient in dimension
to describe the political landscape.
