>>Hello,
I'm the author of the Skull and Bones book that you reviewed. (Yes, this is
really me -- a reader let me know about this site.) First, I want to thank
you, Kris, for not not recommending the book, even if double-negatively! >>
Your welcome.
 >>I am familiar with your great deal of work on the subject, so your opinion
means something to me.>>
Gee, you didn't list my work in your book.
>>Actually, when my schedule settles down, I would very much like to discuss
others of your disassemblies of my work, if you're interested. You can
contact me at secretsofthetomb.com.
Meanwhile, though, I would just like to state for the record that Secrets of
the Tomb is definitely not intended to deflect criticism of Skull and Bones.
>>
How so?
>> I would never write an apologia of that society

n.
A formal defense or justification.
It seems to me that you did write an apologia. You said that we "need" a
wizard of OZ. You dismissed many factual historical manipulations and
treasonous acts by members of Bones.
>>and I do not speak for them -- only as objectively as I credibly can as a
reporter. Skull and Bones has threatened and harrassed me, which I do not
appreciate; but even if it hadn't, I thought it was clear in the book that I
was not enthralled by Yale's secret society system, even in my own
experience.>>
No, it wasn't clear in the book. You praised the senior society system and
were a member of it. Why not come clean? Why did you not say which of the the
seven senior secret societies you are a member of? If you had such access to
members. Why did you not give us a list of the members. So that independent
researchers could look for themselves as to what "power" is held by the
members?
>>I do like your last paragraph, which, as I read it, shows that you
implicitly understand and accept that there was only so much I could write in
this book, only so many allegations I could address.>>
My last paragraphs does not imply that at all. I find your book to be shallow
an one-sided. You din't contact myself or Sutton for our views. You presented
the views of yourself and Bones. You are trying to have your cake and eat it
too.
 >>I did not want to repeat the work that people such as you and Mr. Sutton
have already accomplished -- that's been done before. Secrets of the Tomb is
intended to pave the way for an open international discussion of Skull and
Bones that can reach a mainstream audience. If it does well, then the more
people it reaches, the more people will have learned a foundation that will
render them better able to read and accept works like those of you and
Sutton.>>
Ms. Robbins, Mr. Sutton and I are completely ignored by the mainstream
media. What you have done is to compare my and Sutton's work to the
Simpson's, a cartoon show.
>>>Oh - and "barbarians" is a Bones term; I am a barbarian, too!
Thanks very much for taking the time to read and dissect Secrets of the Tomb.
I'm looking forward to reading your upcoming book.
Alexandra Robbins>>
Your response here seems to be a lot like your "legends of Skull & Bones ploy
to use the conspiratorial taklk about Bones to sell your Bones apolgia.
