Cuba(1889), the Russian Revolution,And The Secret Of The USS Maine

Third World War of Mc-Kinley 1898-1918

The Third World War included the Second War to make Cuba a Republic. It was
not a war for gasoline it was a war to solve the depression caused by the
crash of Railroad Securities (1895-1907). The depression culminated in a
gold drain from New York to London.

Oil for lighting and sugar were the most important commodities in world
trade. The Navy-s of the major powers were being changed to oil but ships
built in 1895 were still run on coal. The French revolution did not change
the material culture in the 19 century. The culture we have today is
basically electricity to light heat and cook in our homes and gasoline
transportation. But automobiles did not become popular until 1908 .On that
year not even 5% of the population in the most industrialized countries had
electricity at home. Sugar in 1898 was still the most profitable commodity
in world trade. Cuba was the major exporter of sugar in the world due to
special characteristics of its highly mineral waters.

The bankers invested all the profits of the society into railroads. These
are not economically viable because they are energy inefficient although
they consume 3 times less energy per ton of gross weight than
trucks.Railroads to be able to pull 100 cars with one engine most have a
large amount of steel in each car. This make them very expensive to make an
operate specially the cost of bridges. General merchandise is spurious and
most of the time cars travel empty returning to the point of departure.
Railroads bankrupt the whole society by 1890 .

Railroads were only good for war and that is how they were advertised by
London. With horse logistics an army could only concentrate 40,000 men
through a road leading to an specific front. The horses required pasture on
the sides of the access roads. With railroads an army could concentrate so
many that in Verdun in 10 months of 1916 980,000 men were killed in a front
only 3 kilometers wide. These men were given food and munitions through a
nation wide railroad system. The first large battle with railroads was
Gettysburg in the American Civil War. They were also the first to use the
automatic repetition rifles made by the grace of Pratt and Whitney machine
tools.

The bonds to build railroads were not sold to the people in general but to
States and local governments through corrupt politicians. It was a game to
place in power a corrupt politician. Britain gained a banking predominance
from 1830 to 1906 by selling railroads all over the world. On those days
bankers in Britain owned 40% of all the world's foreign investment . The
next runner up were the bankers of Paris who had 20% and were associated
with those of London. Berlin had another 9% and America 3% . Berlin bankers
were also associated with those of London so together they had 70%. Forty
percent of London's foreign investment was in railroads the only thing they
sold well. The banking business of London was concentrated in the hands of
17 underwriter bankers led by the family of Rothschild.

The Third World War was financed by the Rothschild-s and other bankers of
London although taxpayers had a larger participation than in previous wars .
Rothschild owned Clyde Shipyards which built the fleet . He financed
Zacharias Zaharoff of Constantinople who fabricated the machine-guns.

The Spanish knew they were going to loose Cuba as soon as Washington had
enough Navy but they were not going to negotiate Cuba they were not that
stupid. They wanted a Declaration of War from Washington. Loosing the island
in war will clear any responsibility for the territory. Negotiating the
island was embezzlement which always carried further responsibilities. The
Queen knew she could use a Declaration of War to begin a new war but she
would not do anything to ask for it. Mc Kinley a Republican from Ohio was
elected with a campaign in favor of the gold standard. Rothschild with de
Beers Company controlled the gold of South Africa which came on stream in
1895 and his agent Cecil Rodes produced the Boer War of South Africa in 1895
. In that war they used concentration camps for the first time.

In 1892 Wilhelm 2 dismissed Chancellor Bismarck and began arming for war. In
1895 he began sending repetition rifles for Morocco to fight against France
and Spain. Although this incident was solved later on they had a Moroccoan
war which lasted through the Battle of Annual in 1917 and ended in 1920 with
150,000 killed on each side. The bankers of London lined up Prussia and the
Southern faction in America against Britain France and Spain.

John Davidson Rockefeller

Rockefeller's ancestors came to Germany from Turkey where they became Roggen
Felden ("Rye Fields".See:J.Josephson"Federal Reserve Bank") . In Germany
they converted to Christianity [Others interpreted it as Rock Fell=Fur
coat]. The first one who came to America came in the 18 century. In 1857
whale killing had created an extinction and a scarcity of oil for lighting
lamps. The first oil discovered in America was at Titusville (9/8/1859).
Rothschild agents (Samuel) had taken the lead refining petroleum oil in Baku
Russia. John Davidson Rockefeller 1 (d.1937) son of Eliza Davidson
associated himself with Flagler who had acquired a fortune from whiskey
trade through his wife's family. Mayer Davidson a relative of Rothschild was
his agent for gold purchases in America in the 1850's. Rockefeller also
associated himself with Vanderbilt (New York Central Railroad), and Scott
(Penn RR), to monopolize the transport of oil from Pennsylvania to New York.
This made Rockefeller an associate of J.P.Morgan the fiscal agent of
Pennsylvania and New York Central Railroads. Morgan and his Railroad man
Vanderbilt were competitors of Seligman (Prussian Party) the banker who
supported Railroad men Drew and Gould (Erie RR). Rockefeller began refining
the oil of Titusville in Cleveland Ohio. He was banking with the City Bank
of Cleveland (established 1845) but his cash flow was so large he became a
partner in it. He renamed the bank National Bank of Cleveland (1865) where
he had headquarters. Rockefeller also associated himself with Kuhn-Loeb
investment bankers who had ties with Rothschild.

The price of crude oil during the Civil War was as low as $3 dollars a
barrel. Refining a barrel (42 gallons) to make oil for lighting lamps cost
30 cents and could be sold at $40 dollars a barrel. They were making profits
of 800%. By 1880 Royal Dutch was producing oil in Sumatra and Standard Oil,
Rockefeller's company, was expanding operations to Ohio (1885). Standard in
1885 was worth 100 million dollars already. In that year Rothschild's
interests in Baku were producing 1 million barrels a year with a profit of
$25 million (1890 dollars) a year. In 1892 Rockefeller family inter-married
with the family of Stillman and they were worth 250 million dollars. Before
1910 Rockefeller had a fortune of 1 billion dollars calculated at the market
value of his assets; not in the value of the assets they controlled. He had
also bought a participation in the City Bank of New York which became the
National City Bank of New York in 1902. 51% of the world's oil production
came from Baku in 1900. Most of the rest came from America and was
controlled by Rockefeller.

Russian Revolution 1895. Rothschild and Rockefeller

The main objective of Rockefeller and Rothschild in the War of McKinley
(1895- 1918) was to use Berlin and Japan's Armies to impose Lenin and Stalin
in Russia. In 1894 they used Japan in the first war against the Czar which
killed over 100,000 soldiers on each side. The war was supported by a
revolutionary movement in Saint Petersburg, the capital, which failed to
overthrow the Czar. The bankers financed Stalin a Bolchevique newspaper
editor in Baku who did terrorism in the oil producing areas of Tsarist
Russia. Theodore Roosevelt won a Nobel Prize for "Peace" for his mediation
in this conflict. He produced a treaty dis-favorable to the Czar. The
bankers wanted a future Communist Empire in Russia to destroy Europe
redeeming the Declarations of War Prussia was going to receive in the War of
Mc-Kinley.

The Third World War(1894-1918) is called the War of Mc-Kinley because
without the Declaration of War he served the Austrian Queen of Spain the war
could not have started.Wars are not started by who crosses whose border
first but by who makes the first Declaration of War. A party could cross a
border to redeem Declarations from a previous war. This Declaration of
Mc-Kinley the Austrian-s used to escalate in Sarajevo in 1914. Spain's
neutrality was recognized in 1914 because they fought their portion of the
war in Morocco and Cuba.

JOSE MARTI

Jose Marti Perez(b.1853)was the son of a Spanish policeman married to a
woman from Canaries. In 1869 he was jailed and deported to Spain for
subversive writings. In the restoration of Sagunto in 1874 he went to Mexico
to live with his father who had moved there. He wrote for Universal Magazine
opponents of Diaz who took power in Mexico in 1876. Marti had to move to
Guatemala and when a dictator took over Guatemala in 1878 he had to go back
to Havana. He worked for the Law Firm of the Freemason Azcarate and was
deported in 1879 again. He left for New York in 1880 where he worked as a
journalist and a public speaker. Activities for the Revolution began with a
speech he made in Ybor City in Tampa on October 26 1892. He spoke at the San
Carlos Club in Key West (1/3/92) invited by Lamadrid of the Freemason's
Lodge of Kingston Jamaica. They organized the Cuban Revolutionary Party
(PRC) on January 5 1892. His newspaper Patria was founded on March. The
banking interest behind them was Seligman acting through the banker Rubens.

Marti politically was a "southern Democrat" but he associated himself with
the right wing tobacco manufacturers and Republicans of Tampa to organize
the war of independence. He was introduced to the circles of Tampa by
Carbonell. Marti was a Latin American literary figure and a bilingual
Journalist in New York.He left a large collection of writings .

In 1895 the American fleet was ready for action against Spain anywhere in
the world. In that year Venezuela called for help from Washington because
Brazil invaded Guyana and wanted to take part of their oil. Washington
intervened and challenged Brazil.

Marti organized the Cuban uprising in 1895 while on American territory with
the aproval of the government. President Cleveland confiscated Marti's
supplies in Fernandina just to show the Cuban independence was taking place
despite the fact Washington was following the Neutrality Law. Cleveland had
even been a lawyer in the Law Firm of Pierpont Morgan's father in law,Tracy.
Rubens got the confiscated weapons back and were later taken to Cuba anyway.

Marti's organizers in Cuba were Juan Gualberto Gomez and Latapier. Following
Marti's orders Saturnino Lora began the war of independence in Cuba at Baire
on February 24,1895. Juan Gualberto Gomez did the same at Ibarra, Casallas
at Camajuani, Moncada and Portuondo-Tamayo at Santiago, Maso at Bayate,
Perez at Guantanamo, Pedroso at Aguada. Only Sanguily was jailed inmediatly
in Havana. Sanguily did not return from deportation until 1898. Nunez in the
States was in charge of organizing logistic with 6 fast ships at their
disposal. Most expeditions carried 1000 guns 500,000 shots and a canon and
cost $30,000 dollars. The most successful expeditionary captain has a County
named after him in Florida ,Napoleon Broward. Maximo Gomez Maceo Garcia and
Marti landed in Cuba before April 1895. Unfortunately Marti was killed in
combat soon after landing on May 19. A Government in Arms was created in
1896 at Camajuani led by President Cisneros and many Sovereign-ties were
prepared to recognize their rights of belligerence. In the first important
combat Peralejo (7/13/95) Maceo defeated Santocildes and Martinez Campos
took a defensive position in the city of Bayamo .

The rebels led by Gomez and Antonio Maceo organized(11/95)a 90 day invasion
of the west from Baragua to Mantua with 5,000 men. They fought the Spaniards
27 times three of them the important battles of :Maltiempo in the plains of
Cienfuegos (12/15/95); Coliseo(12/23) in Matanzas and Calimete (12/29)
against Garcia- Navarro. On January 1 1896 they defeated Galbis and entered
Havana Province. Maceo stayed in the west and Maximo Gomez went back to
Villas. Maceo attacked Santacruz, Artemisa, Managua, Labori, Cacarajicara
and Estorino. They could not take Palma or Galope where Banderas was demoted
because his infantry turned on their heels. They lost Loma Redonda and
Cejanegro where women and children were killed fighting against the Spanish
General Tarafa. On returning east Maceo was killed with the son of Gomez at
San Pedro- Punta Brava in Havana on December 7 1896. He was surprised in an
area where there were several stone fences and he could not use his cavalry.

War in the west continued and Cardenas attacked Guanabacoa, Reyna and Santa
Maria Rosario. Delgado attacked Calabazar, Mayia Colorado Sugar Mill and
Aguirre, San-Francisco. Betancourt Rojas and Acevedo continued the
harassment in Matanzas Province . Serafin Sanchez and Vidal fought at
Manajanebo in Villas Province. They attacked Santa Clara and fought all the
way to the central park today named after Vidal who was killed there. Gomez
attacked at Cascorro, Saratoga and took Guaimaro. Calixto Garcia Sablon and
Basulto in Oriente Province fought at Bayamo, Managuaco, Piedras, Filipa,
Escondida, Lomaplana Maffo, Jiguani, Baguanos, Banes, Guisa, and took Tunas.
Maximo Gomez in Reforma (Villas Province) entertained Weyler with his 30,000
men without either one attacking the other .

Weyler the Spanish Captain General,a "chuete" from Mallorca, created the
South African type Concentration Camps in Cuba in 1896 where they interned
300,000 out of which 40,000 died of disease and malnutrition. The New York
Press took this as a rallying banner to call for intervention now that the
Navy was large enough. Philippine's and Puerto Rico revolutionaries began
fighting in 1896. In Spain Canovas the Democrat was assassinated (8/8/97) by
Agiolillo a Freemason agent paid by the Puerto Rico delegate in Paris.
Sagasta the Liberal took power and changed Weyler for Blanco to reduce
tensions.

Remember The Maine

The justification Mc-Kinley used to send the US-S Maine uninvited to Havana
was a violent demonstration supporters of the Spanish status-quo had on
January 12,1898. McKinley claimed it was dangerous for the 8,000 American
residents in the island. The US-S Maine was the largest Navy ship ever built
in an American shipyard. It arrived on Havana on January 25. The ship was
blown at night on February 15 1898 with 266 seamen and officers killed. Two
Spaniards seamen were also killed trying to close the compartments to avoid
more explosions. People were suspicious because the most important officers
were at a party on shore. There were 81 foreigners and 82 black seamen among
the crew of 318 seamen and 22 officers and most of them were among those
killed.

An investigative commission arrived to Havana on the 21 aboard the US-S
Mangrove. Judge Advocate of the Navy Adolf Marix reported the ship had been
blown by a mine placed underneath the ship by a diver named Pepe "Taco"
Barquin. His spy in Havana was Carlos Carbonell a Cuban Freemason. (Marix
report is published in Document 207 of President MacKinley's Message to the
55 Senate Appendix "F": Report on the Destruction of the US-S Maine, 1898
available in NYPL). It could not have been a magazine explosion caused by a
coal fire because the coal in the area of the damage had been used and
fire-walls did not allow this to happen. The keel was bent indicating it had
been a mine, there were dead fish on the bay and a hole on the sand below
the ship. Marix reported Jose "Taco" Barquin had been offered $6,000 and was
killed the day after. Another diver was killed by guards and another wounded
and jailed on the night of the explosion. The one in jail ,Marix reported,
was being poisoned by the authorities. The arrest was recorded in Regla's
official documents. The Freemason-s used an 100 kilogram mine. The
intellectual perpetrators were Garcia Corujedo ,Villasuso, Maribona and
other Freemason businessmen of Murralla street. These were people who
according to a letter of Brigadier General Freyre de Andrade were associated
with a gun runner and State politician from New York by the name of Astor
Chandler a friend of Theodore Roosevelt and Maximo Gomez.

Rough Riders

The representative of the Cuban Government in Arms Estrada backed by Samuel
Janney and Horatio Rubens who were associated with Sullivan and Cromwell and
Seligman Bank moved fast to offer Congress $35 million dollars to pass the
Joint Resolution saying Cuba had to be free from Spain. Only $18 million
were paid in Cuban bonds registered by Stern and Rushmore of Wall Street
because liberation did not occur on the date agreed. When Senator Teller's
Resolution was passed McKinley called for volunteers and ordered a blockade
of the island. On April 21 war was Declared in Madrid as part of an
ultimatum. The "roughrider-s" landed in Guantanamo on 6/6/98 and in Daiquiri
later in the month. They had several combat-s Guasimas Caney and San
Juan. The American fleet defeated the Spanish one at Cavite in Philippines
and at Santiago de Cuba. On July 17 Santiago surrendered and on July 26 1898
the Queen through the French Consul in Washington asked to surrender. On
August 12 the cease fire was ordered.

The Spaniards had 71,000 killed during the two years of war including those
who died of disease (60,000). These included the 3,000 who died fighting
American forces. The Cuban rebels lost 47,000 in the two years of war plus
the civilians who died in concentration camps (20,000 of disease, 12,000 in
combat and 15,000 executed). Americans lost 700 including those who died in
the Maine.

The Treaty of Paris was signed on December 10,1898 and it called for Spain
to abandon Cuba on January 1, 1899. In the Treaty of Paris the Queen of
Spain surrendered Cuba, Puerto Rico, Marianas, Guam and Philippines to
Washington. In the Treaty the rebels were treated as Spanish enemies . This
was mainly to avoid the issue of the property confiscated by Spanish
Republicans from rebels which was to be sold and divided among American
Republicans. This included 275,000 acres of prime land .

The rebels formed another Assembly at Santa Cruz (10/24/98. Camaguey) and at
Cerro Avenue (1/4/1899) near the corner of Tejas in Ceiba Marianao-Havana.
The Assembly wanted to float a loan to dismiss the rebel Army but Mc-Kinley
opposed this. Calixto Garcia the favorite for the Presidency died in
Washington when he went there to talk to McKinley. Some thought he had been
poisoned. In his funeral(2/9/99) Brooke marched in front of the procession
and had his soldiers draw swords to prevent Brigadier General Fernando
Freyre de Andrade and the members of the government in arms from joining the
march. Freyre de Andrade became President of the Republic in Arms when
Mendez joined the Provisional Government on February 16.Hugo Roberts was his
vice President. President Freyre dismissed Gomez because he wanted to
discharge the soldiers with only a $75 pay and because his participation in
the incident of the Maine which had become known. The Rebel Government was
finally dismissed on April 4 1899 after Estrada promised some of their
demands were going to be met.

Leonard Wood

Brooke was soon substituted on December 20,1899 by Chaffee and on January
1,1900 Chaffee was substituted by General Leonard Wood a Harvard graduate
Doctor in Medicine. This General had trouble with the massacre of Apaches in
1886 when his soldiers went raping Apache children in Arizona. He also had a
court martial in 1906 for the massacre of 900 Philippine men women and
children in Mount Dajo in Jolo island. In Cuba Brooke and Wood both executed
people accused of being bandits without a trial. He also introduced
corruption in the Cuban Republic.During his administration his officers were
caught stealing $200,000 from the Post Office. They were never brought to
trial because they were part of Hanna's fund raising for Mc Kinley's
campaign. The contracts for building the sewerage systems of Cienfuegos and
Havana were given to a business associate of him without solicitation. Wood
assisted Finlay in his search for the causes of the Yellow Fever but he was
highly criticized by ecologist-s when he introduced Republican sewerage
discharge into the sea and rivers in a place where people were used to bury
human waste.

McKinley was shot by an anti imperialist activist in the Pan American Fair
in Buffalo New York on September 6 1901 as a consequence of his Declaration
of War to intervene in Cuba.He died on the 14.
