A VOICE
FOR THE
VOICELESS

Our TV ads will provide an outlet for millions of freedom-loving Americans to make their viewpoint heard. And no group of Americans has been more persecuted and is more likely to support our efforts than gun owners.

The news media doesn't want you to own guns.

Their reporting is designed to incite a public fear of gun ownership and further the cause of those who want to repeal the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

As one example of this bias, the news media always reports when some lunatic shoots up a restaurant or a school, but never reports when responsible citizens use their guns to prevent such tragedies.

They report statistics about the number of people killed by guns, but they never mention the far greater number of violent crimes that are prevented by guns used for self-defense.

And they consistently distort the true meaning and purpose of the Second Amendment.

The American Liberty Foundation wants to combat the news media's disinformation by producing and broadcasting television ads that will educate Americans about the virtues of private gun ownership.

That way people will receive the true story about gun ownership through the very same medium that is now teaching them to fear guns.

The American Liberty Foundation has already produced three television ads for this purpose. (To view these ads, click on the images at left — requires either Windows MediaPlayer or RealPlayer.)

These ads and this issue provide a perfect example of how we intend to fulfill our mission. Not all freedom loving Americans agree on every issue, but we can join together to educate people about those issues where we do agree. By producing ads on single issues we can attract support from people who agree with us on each issue — letting them target their contributions to specific ads.

By providing a voice for the voiceless on a whole range of issues we can create a vast mosaic of educational TV ads that cover every aspect of individual liberty and personal responsibility, while allowing our supporters to focus on those issues that matter most to them.

This is a powerful idea, but we need your help to make it a reality. And the best way you can help right now is by making a contribution to join our Founders Committee. If you want to be one of the Founders of the American Liberty Foundation, click here.
