From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Replica gun doctor cleared of misconduct A hospital doctor accused of pushing a replica rifle into a nurse's stomach and pulling the trigger has been cleared of serious professional misconduct. Yat Ming Davy Chan was accused of walking into a hospital in Abergavenny, Gwent, wearing military-style clothing and told colleagues he had bought a gun. He later showed the replica M16 rifle to Sister Rennie Smith in the hospital car park. It was claimed that he asked her if he should shoot a nearby girl before he pointed it at her and she felt vibrations as if it had been fired. The General Medical Council's Professional Conduct Committee sitting in central London found Dr Chan of guilty of "inappropriate" and "irresponsible behaviour" but did not find the incident supported a finding of serious professional misconduct.
