string non defined

2004-07-24 Thread electa
I have a little c++ code that do not run in Cygwin (but in Linux yes) because g++ says 'string' not defined. string is a variable type as I see in the code: string chip::prepare( string s ) what is the Linux-like definition? and how I add that to the code to go on with g++? -- Unsubscribe info

Mangling of '\\' by cygwin dll

Hi, I run into a strange problem while using sed from a cmd.exe shell. The problem is not sed specific and the following lines demonstrate it with /bin/echo. From cmd.exe: C:\>\cygwin\bin\echo.exe '1 \ 2 \\ 3 \\\ 4 5 \ 6 \t' 1 \ 2 \ 3 \\ 4 \\ 5 \\\ 6 \t It looks like each \\ is translated

I have updated the version of ssmtp to 2.60.9-2. The config-file generator ssmtp-config now also suggests creating a link from /usr/sbin/sendmail to /usr/sbin/ssmtp. Also, ssmtp dies with a helpful error message when the config file doesn't yet exist (instead of just trying to proceed with the ma
