I've uploaded a new version of cygwin 1.7.0 to the release-2 area. This
version fixes some problems that I encountered using samba shares without
extended attributes and fixes a problem with cygcheck where it could not
find /etc/fstab.
The same version is also available as a snapshot.

am trying to compile (sox) because the source tree is a little
simpler.
1. ./configure --prefix=/usr : pass Ok
2. make returns

I made some more tests and I've found the root cause: in fact
/bin/sh -c cd directory
will not work for a directory in $pwd unless it has a leading ./
Only bash - when disguised as sh - has this issue, ash for example
does not behave like this.
Do you have an idea how to bypass this?
