Several months ago set up a remote backup for a client. The remote
server, running OpenSuSe 11, runs rsync over ssh to two remote servers
in the same location. One server is Linux (a variant of CentOS 4.6),
while the other is a Windows 2008 server box. Until last week,

It's part of the cygwin distro, so use setup.exe. Look for "OpenSSH".
After installing it, read the docs in /usr/share/doc/Cygwin/openssh.README and
in /usr/share/doc/openssh/, then use the ssh-host-config script to set it
It has been quite a while since I've updated any of the packages on my XP
system.
I want to start sshd on the XP box so that I can access it from my Solaris 10
box in order to modify my crontab file.
What is the best way to get and install oppenssh?
Thanks.

What setup is need to get ^Z to suspend the current process?

Hello Andrew
I just did a quick test so far but it doesn't seem to work correctly.
The behaviour changed to the following:
I open a screen session - and disconnect (not detach!) from the ssh session.
I come back with screen -DRR and I get my old screen.
That's *good* and how I want it.

If gcc version 3.x is what you want, why not just downgrade
from 3.4.4-999 to gcc-3.4.4-3? AIUI, the only difference
between the two is something you don't want:
That's what i did (downgraded).
Still, i wanted to make someone aware of the fact that the update was
