Hi,
I'm trying to install Cygwin onto a new machine, and the installer fails
with the following error:
Package: Unknown package
pristine-tar.sh exit code 1
Checking setup.log.full reveals that it's trying to use a package from
Perl 5.10 rather than the installed version 5.14:

Thanks for the information. I thought cygwin's httpd version was older. I
downloaded and isntalled it with setup.exe. But I couldn't get it to run
successfully.
I installed it like this:
$ cygrunsrv -I httpd2 -O -p /usr/sbin/httpd2.exe -e CYGWIN="ntsec tty"
$ cygrunsrv -S httpd2
Erro
