Thanks for your help.
It is probably better to wait for next perl 5.30.1 release that should be
available soon.
Next package that I am not able to build by myself concerns poppler package
as lot of library dependencies are not resolved.

The problem is solved. It was an entry in the Samba configuration file smb.conf
in section [global]:
unix charset = ISO8859-1
After deleting this entry qmake works correctly.
