This also occurs when trying to compile the insight gdb-frontend on cygwin64
that I tried to build.

when calling the insight gdb-frontend on cygwin64, it reports an error:
"Can't find package iwidgets 4.0".
However, tcl-iwidgets-4.0.1-3 is installed.
After changing in /usr/lib/iwidgets4.0.1/iwidgets.tcl either

the package lapack-3.0-5-src found by the 'setup package search' on the web
isn't listed by setup.exe (2.573.2.2).
The file clapack.h is not in the package lapack-3.05 that I have installed.

Unfortunately, it is a C++-based module, because I try to bind a
C++-library, which can no longer be compiled by gcc-2.95, to python by
swig-1.16.
I already tried to build an new python myself, but it failed just at the
beginning of make.
