I did this and installed it in /usr/bin. And I was able to extract
from multipart files too with it.

After updating through setup, the montage and convert binaries
complain of missing shared libraries.

I installed the win32 binary of PostgreSQL 8.4 in C:/PostgreSQL.
Launching mintty in cygwin and calling psql, the only thing that seems
to work is the psql --help call.
