setup.exe found all the packages. Overlooking the fact that my setup didn't
organize the packages as neatly as they appear when downloading or
installing from a mirror; they simply appeared lumped under All -> Misc.

roper md5 was required in the
same directory as the tarballs (package). I have all the current tarballs
(+650MB) and no md5's. This has occurred on 3 different mirrors. I'm
wondering how one acquires the md5's without having to download each one
individually.

Thanks for the snippy remark. The fact is the packages weren't (note the
modal tense) acknowledged by setup.exe unless associated with an md5.
You've succeeded at providing a sarcastic response to an easily addressable
part of my dilemma.
For the more challenging aspect, why won't setup
tall will I still be consigned to an internet
connection for md5 verification or must I manually donwload each package's
md5.sum? BTW - I attempted to download the packages from 3 different
mirrors with similar frustrating results.
