GVIM exits w/ a SEGV error on WinXP

Hi, I rebuilt GVIM from sources i downloaded using cygwin setup utility. I used the following sequence of commands ./configure --with-x --with-features=huge ; make ; make install The problem is that each time i try to launch the resulting executable on my home XP box i got the following error
