The following bash script segment worked correctly prior to my upgrading cygwin (from 1.3.2 to 1.3.10):
export DISPLAY=`ipconfig | grep 'IP Address' | awk '{ split( $0, line, ": " ); print line[ 2 ] }'`":0" now results in: $ echo $DISPLAY :02.168.2.23 A CR is left in the output and when eliminated, result is correct: $ echo $DISPLAY | tr -d "\r" 192.168.2.23:0 $ mount C:\cygwin\bin on /usr/bin type system (binmode) C:\cygwin\lib on /usr/lib type system (binmode) C:\cygwin on / type system (binmode) c: on /cygdrive/c type user (binmode, noumount) I have not changed the mount mode. Was the default behavior in regards to CRLF sequences changed between levels of cygwin?
